1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Family Digital, Inc. (“Family Digital,” “we,” “us”) is a Delaware software development company. This policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information through:

That information is governed by the client’s privacy policy and our contract with the client, including our Client Services Terms. Contact the client directly about it.

Other entities. This policy does not cover FamilyApp®, Family Digital Foundation™, or our portfolio companies. Each has its own privacy policy.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the Site, Platform Launchpad or Agent Foundry to work, such as keeping you signed in. We also use Google Analytics to measure Site traffic, and it sets cookies to do that. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out with Google’s browser add-on.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not track you across other companies’ websites. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Necessary cookies can’t be turned off without affecting how the Site works.

We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your information, although we do neither.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that work for us under contract, such as website hosting, email and newsletter delivery, analytics, Slack, cloud infrastructure, AI model providers, accounting and payment processing. They may use it only to provide services to us.

  • Your organization, for Launchpad activity on its projects.

  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, under duties of confidentiality.

  • Authorities or others, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Family Digital, our clients or others.

  • A successor, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above:

  • inquiries from people who don’t become clients: up to two years;

  • newsletter data: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we don’t email you again;

  • client and Launchpad records: for the relationship and up to seven years after, for legal, tax and contract purposes; and

  • server logs and analytics: up to 14 months.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold, including encryption in transit, access controls and limited staff access. No system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee the security of information you send us.

Wherever you live in the United States, you may ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;

  • correct information that is inaccurate;

  • delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law or contract; and

  • stop sending you marketing email. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.

To make a request, email privacy@familydigital.ai We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent, who must show us your written permission. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond within 60 days.

If your request concerns data we process for a client, we will refer you to that client and help it respond.

9. Children

The Site and Launchpad are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International visitors

We are based in the United States and store information here. If you contact us from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from yours.
